Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) has become an important tool in studying the neural basis of human behavior. In this talk, I will briefly introduce the physical principles underlying Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), the physiological basis of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), and the basic experimental paradigms and data analysis techniques in fMRI. I will also highlight the challenges and needs for developing novel data analysis and modelling techniques in brain imaging research |
